Sharon Mooney Welker and her husband, Ned, have lived in Prescott, Arizona since 1995. Sharon came to Arizona from Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where she owned and operated a cattle ranch overlooking the San Juan Mountains. A student of Brenda Thorpe, John Shaw, Jack Dyskinga and Joseph Van Os, Sharon enjoys landscape photography, photography of flowers and photography of children. She is in love with the Grand Canyon and although the Grand Canyon’s spirit is very “illusive” to photographers, Sharon continually seeks still another breath taking view through her camera lens. Sharon uses a Canon EOS3 35 mm. camera with the Canon tilt/shift lens being her lens of choice.
