Karel Armstrong is offering a colored pencil class in the MAG downstairs art studio. It is a four weeks class and will meet on March 9, 16, 23, and 30 in the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The title of the class is COLORED PENCIL AS YOU LIKE IT. The class will benefit the beginner as well as the novice and intermediate artist. All work will be from your own ideas and or photos. No computer borrowed photos.
Beginners will learn the techniques of blending, layering, and color families. Mixed media with the colored pencil will be explored and discussed along with the use of a watercolor base and Washi, Thai and Japanese rice, fiber and lace papers.
Materials list will be available upon registration.

Amazing Art Talks is a series of talks by artists.
They meet on selected Saturdays at 10 a.m. at Yavapai College, Prescott.
