Description
Relief carving and pyro-engraving designs into gourd shell. Gourds are cleaned and ready to go.
Feathers will be the subject for this workshop.
The entire design on the pieces shown here will not be duplicated - no antler, turquoise, finish, etc. - only the feathers.
Materials
Detail Master/Razor tip of similar burning system
Dremel w/ flex arm, must be a variable speed unit.
assorted tips (Contact Bill for specifics on the carving tips required. He might have them for sale if unobtainable.)
pencil, eraser, graphite paper for transfer
#2 exacto knife
paper towels
face respirator
Instructor
15 years experience, exhibit at fine art shows in SW, published in books & several periodicals, received many awards, taught workshop at Idyllwild Academy of Arts & Music 2011, MAG workshop 2009.
