Description
You will create a beautiful pine needle basket working with torrey pine needles, raffia for thread and various stitching techniques.
Materials
Small sciessors, a terrycloth washcloth to keep needles moist
Instructor provides pine needles and raffia.
Bring a sharp point crewed needle (#20).
Instructor
Christa Iceforest has been active in many art forms such as painting, weaving, basketry and gourd art. Her pine needle baskets have won awards and she has used the coil technique on large gourd vessels as well.
At present she is primarily active in painting.
