Brief Bio:

Joanie and her husband Charlie moved to Sedona 4 1/2 years ago at which time she started her new career as an artist. She creates ceramic pieces which she embellishes with paper clay flowers. She also builds sculptures using fiber clay. Her whimsical pieces are created to make people smile. Her transition into teaching the use of fiber clay came naturally because she retired from a 37 year career as a teacher.

Her goal for this class is to create a love for working with fiber clay.
