Learn a basic understanding of watercolor, watercolor washes. Complete simple experiments with color blending on paper, using transparent and opaque colors, work with various paint brushes, blend bold to soft colors and learn how to make dark to light areas of shadow and bright light.
There will be no final exam, no written paper, just fun, and experimenting with what some consider a “difficult” medium. Paints and a palette for your use in this two-day class will be included. Students that take this class will have the opportunity to continue with four additional classes with an early discounted registration fee.
